For all lesbian women interested in studying
Spanish while learning about history and culture of Mexican
lesbians. How lesbians are creating a public presence around
the world as public officials, in organizations, fighting
descrimination and being in a culture of resistance.

Language Training for Ministry
August 9 - 30, 2008
Program participants are challenged and
empowered to experience the world from the perspective of
the marginalized, critically reflect on that reality and return
home inspired to become more active agents in promoting God's
reign through solidarity with the poor who are engaged in
this struggle because they realize that their very survival
is at stake. This program is co-coordinated by the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and CETLALIC.
Tepoztlan:
Cultural & Popular Resistance in México
October 25 - November 7, 2008
This program takes place in the Tepoztlan campus and is for all interested in learning about popular
and cultural struggles in Mexico and how the Mexican grassroots
organize against neoliberalism and globalization, all in the
mystical town of Tepoztlan, Morelos.
