Homestay

An integral part of your study of the language and culture at CETLALIC is the experience of living with a Mexican family. Living in a Mexican home offers a unique perspective on the daily lives of the people, their food, customs, and warm hospitality. Families help students learn the language in practical situations. Students are included in family outings and fiestas. We also offer homestays with gays and lesbians in the Cuernavaca community. All CETLALIC families are gay and lesbian friendly.

I really appreciated the excellent food & many fine social activities they brought me to or hosted. I had many opportunities to practice Spanish in "unrehearsed" settings.
