The Authentic Culinary Experience
Through cooking classes, lectures,
cultural activities, and field trips, students will learn about the
fundamental aspects of authentic Mexican gastronomy from its
Prehispanic origins to contemporary Mexican cuisine; including regional
cooking, home-made dishes and gourmet cuisine. A very important part of
the learning is the hands-on experience--from preparing a tortilla to
the more elaborate chile relleno.
This program is for all people, anyone
with a desire to learn the Spanish language or improve their Spanish
language skills and delve into the culinary traditions of Mexico. We
welcome students from all walks of life!
Homestay
